Neil Osborne, Founder and Principal Mr. Osborne is a retired professional engineer, with an MBA from the University of BC, and lives in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Neil was a lecturer in marketing, business strategy and sales management at UBC and taught a number of graduate level courses in real estate investment and development analysis at the BC Institute of Technology, the Royal Melbourne (Australia) Institute of Technology. For a number of years Neil was a managing partner of the real estate and development division of a multi-dimensional real estate firm involved in architectural and engineering design, commercial real estate sales and leasing, property management, construction management and development. He has structured a number of real estate joint ventures and has been involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry for many years. Neil has developed and taught courses on commercial real estate, investment, development and lease analysis for many years to residential and commercial Realtor boards & associations, and CCIM Chapters in Canada and the USA. Because of the popularity of these courses, he was selected by NAR to present educational seminars at their national conferences. Directing a team of systems designers and programmers, Mr. Osborne developed a very popular and comprehensive real estate investment analysis program suite called Investit Express and Investit Pro, which he uses as a demonstration and analytical tool to teach real estate investment, development, buy versus lease, hold vs sell, and both Landlord and Tenant lease analysis. |
